New equipment, finesse moves counteract shortcomings of age
When my son was young, my parents gave him one of those wavy mirrors you find in the Hall of Mirrors - the kind you look into and catch a distorted view of yourself, with a limp spaghetti-shaped body, a sagging face and a drooping belly. Today, I'm about the age my parents were when they gave it to Ben, and now I can look in any mirror for a similar view. Today, we call it middle age, with a dollop of gravity droop that endless hours at the health club never quite eliminate.
